Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 March 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DORA Register of Information tool (“DORA RoI”, “the Service”) operated by FromCISO (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Service Description

DORA RoI is a free, browser-based tool that helps EU financial entities prepare, validate, and export the Register of Information required under EU Regulation 2022/2554 (DORA). All register data is processed and stored exclusively in your browser — no register data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DORA RoI, including by submitting your email address through the access gate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Access and Authentication

  • Access to DORA RoI requires a valid work email address. Free email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) are not accepted.
  • We reserve the right to revoke access at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and browser session.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter into the tool.
  • DORA RoI assists with format and structural validation but does not guarantee that your register will be accepted by any competent authority.
  • You are responsible for compliance with DORA, applicable implementing regulations, and any guidance issued by your competent authority.
  • You must ensure you have the appropriate authorization to handle the register data you enter, including personal data of third parties (e.g., signatories, ICT providers).
  • You are responsible for backing up your data. We recommend using the JSON backup feature available in Settings before making significant changes.

5. Data and Privacy

All register data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage and is never sent to our servers. Your email address is collected for access authentication and may be used as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The DORA RoI tool, including its source code, documentation, design, and branding, is the property of FromCISO. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tool for its intended purpose — preparing DORA Registers of Information for regulatory submission.

The DORA regulatory framework, EBA taxonomy, and related specifications are published by the European Union and European Banking Authority and are not our intellectual property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of validation rules
  • Acceptance of exported files by any competent authority
  • Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation

DORA RoI is not legal advice and is not a substitute for professional compliance, legal, or regulatory guidance. You should consult qualified professionals for compliance decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FromCISO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, regulatory penalties, or financial losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Since the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed zero euros (€0).

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee any level of uptime or availability. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. Since all register data is stored in your browser, discontinuation of the Service does not affect your locally stored data.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
